Badalona Hosts Two Pilot Tests of Robots in a Healthcare Environment
The mayor of Badalona, Ruben Guijarro, and the councilor for Territory, Housing, Sports and Health, Teresa González, accompanied by the BSA manager, Pilar Otermin visited El Carme Socio-Sanitary Center (CSSC).
Currently, two of the BSA centers – Badalona Municipal Hospital (HMB) and the El Carme Socio-Sanitary Center (CSSC) – are the scene of robotics projects that are committed to patient safety, prevention and the modernization of certain functions, allowing professionals to have more direct care time to offer better care to patients. This Wednesday, the mayor of Badalona, Ruben Guijarro, and the councilor for Territory, Housing, Sports and Health, Teresa González, accompanied by the BSA manager, Pilar Otermin, and other professionals from the organization visited the CSSC and were able to check first-hand the main functionalities implemented in the ROSE-C19R robot.
