This biennial symposium on fusion technology is the most important conference in this field in Europe, bringing together scientists, engineers, industry representatives and exhibitors from all over the world (ref. Homepage SOFT 2022).
During the symposium HIT presented a poster about the work done in collaboration with ITER, National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries about the recent activities where we deployed the use of VR using a Head Mounted Display in the validation and verification of maintenance sequences in the ITER ECH Port Cells.
HIT also manned a stand together with 4 other Dutch companies as part of the ILO-net. Throughout the week there were many interesting conversations, discussions and exchange of ideas.
