Heemskerk Innovative Technology (HIT) was present at the 28th Symposium on Fusion Technology SOFT 2014, held from 29 September – 3 October in San Sebastian, Spain. In this episode of SOFT, Remote Handling was less prominently present. HIT participated with two contributions in the poster sessions.

Poster P2.104: “Measuring robustness of maintenance schedules Fusion Remote Handling,” presented by HIT colleague Pepijn Schoen, while poster P2.105: “Mapping ITER Port Plug maintenance workflow” was presented by Dennis Ronden from FOM Institute DIFFER. In the poster session there was room for interesting discussions, e.g. with Alexis Dammann from ITER IO (photo) and Marco van Uffelen from F4E.
