The European Space Agency (ESA) is an intergovernmental organization of 22 member states dedicated to the exploration of space. ESA science missions are based at ESTEC in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

Heemskerk Innovative Technology supported contractor Dutch Space (now known as Airbus Defence and Space) in projects in the field of System Engineering.
