Within the Virtual Slave project, a consortium of Dutch Space, Heemskerk Innovative Technology and TreeC aims at the development of a simulation tool which enables the user to simulate the kinematics, dynamics and physical interaction of designs and environments imported from CAD software.

The Virtual Slave is multi-functional; it can be used in the design phase of ITER components, validation of maintenance procedures, operator training and operational support during maintenance operations.
