ROSE Demonstrates Long-Distance Teleoperation
Result of the DIH HERO Project
The goal of the project DIH HERO SANDRo is to develop, robustify and test developments and prove added value via large-scale trials in the Netherlands, Spain and France.
The video below demonstrates that our advanced teleoperation system allows us to control the robot very well over a large distance (approximately 1350km). To assess the robustness of our advanced teleoperation system, an execution of a simplified teleoperation task in Barcelona (Spain), controlled from Delft (The Netherlands), in which our teleoperation system ensures stable arm control and force feedback. This results in smooth and intuitive control over the robot by the operator.
