The hardware on which robot ROSE is based was developed by PAL Robotics and further developed by Heemskerk Innovative Technology (HiT). HiT develops ROSE to provide physical support in healthcare such that clients can regain their independence and the health care staff is alleviated with regard to simple but time-consuming tasks.
